More books and book-signings

Sorry it’s been a while chaps but life has been busy, what with the launch of Crucible of Fate, working as a professional speaker and trainer, chairing a regional branch of a military charity and trying to work out what is coming next on the book front (apart from the Leadership and Management E-Book I’m currently writing for From The Front Consultancy Ltd).

First of all, a massive thank you to those loyal readers who rushed straight out and got themselves a copy of Crucible of Fate. The third novel has had a great reception thus far and there have been many very kind comments. I am also very excited about the fact that Richard and Lawrence, the organisers of The Other Partizan wargames show, have invited me back for a second year to run a small book-signing stand at Kelham Hall near Newark on Sunday 2nd September 2012. I’m really looking forward to it, but the problem is there are so many cracking display games and tempting trade stalls at the show that I keep getting tempted to wander off and get stuck in. I will have to exercise great self restraint this year until the back end of the day and then go for a quick whizz round all the stalls to spend a small fortune! The link to the website for The Other Partizan is here

The official launch for Crucible of Fate took place back at the start of July in Stoke on Trent and I’m hoping to have some video footage and images of the event shortly. Meanwhile, I think we are almost certainly heading out to the Far East for book four. This will be the most challenging novel yet in terms of research as there is such a lack of reliable and detailed information, particularly from the early part of the war in the Far East. Anyway, the research is part of the fun so off we go!

I just need to get finished with another writing project before I crack on with novel four however. I’m currently writing a leadership and management handbook for publication on Kindle by From The Front Consultancy Ltd. You can view their website through this link

I will also be popping up some photos of Normandy in the not too distant future along with some maps and other stuff. If only there were more hours in the day! Back soon. AJ.

Seelöwe Nord is the online home of Andy Johnson, a war fiction novelist. Seelöwe Nord is a war novel that tells the alternative history of Operation Sealion, the proposed German invasion of Britain in 1940. Followed by Thunder in May, and the recently released Crucible of Fate, the trilogy of War Fiction remains a popular read within the genre.

Andy has also started to publish small Leadership and Management Booklets drawing from his extensive experience across many sectors and industries, both military and civilian, the first of which is entitled Captains of the Gate and is now available for download on eReaders directly from Amazon.
